Hi hi call me Rook! (She/they) 30+, queer, disabled, and full time employed. PST timezone.I RP like a novelist. Everything is part of an elaborate overarching character-driven plot that I am collaboratively building with others. I hunger for story. Drama. Character beats for my OCs or for others'. Development. FFXIV forces me to really only write one OC at a time, but if I can I will write several. For this reason I prefer discord to in-gameI have a lot of different characters but Ret (my bleeding heart disaster lizard) often seizes my brain as my favorite. Some of the other OCs are:

Some Important Boundaries

  • I don't do ERP with people I don't know very well. Additionally, I prefer the OCs to have chemistry and connection ICly before smut occurs. Thank you for understanding

  • Irette is coded as having Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), c-PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety. I enjoy writing her as way to explore themes around healing and struggling with mental illness or trauma. Please do not try to "fix" her. Part of the appeal of writing Ret is to allow her to have a more realistic (gradually improving but also somewhat cyclical) healing journey. That she is still worthy of love while she is struggling is important for her character growth and makes when she overcomes a challenge more satisfying for me as a writer

  • Please don't try to push Irette into a relationship with your OC. If they have chemistry and it happens, cool, but I am not interested in arranged romances. Ret is generally a slowburn romance and will pull away from OCs that try to push her into something quickly

  • Character views and choices are not mine. IC =/= OOC. Please do not talk to me as if I am Ret. Please do not call me Ret. I am not her

  • If you have an issue with me, my writing, or my OC, please tell me directly. I am Autistic and will not easily pick up social hints. I appreciate clear, direct, specific communication.
